We are excited about this year’s Finals coming up JUNE 19-24 in Afton Wyoming. Below you will find the tentative schedule of events. Remember, these are subject to change depending upon entries.

Your membership must be current to enter the Finals.

Cattle finals will be all on Saturday with the top teams (amount will be determined at finals) from the first two rounds coming back.

To qualify for this year’s cattle, you must have earned points in the current year. We are taking 75 runs per class. Entry Fee $300 per dog per class.

The Ultimate Stockdog Challenge will stay the same as last year. Intermediate and Novice will stay the same, you must enter both Cattle and Sheep to be in the running for Ultimate Stockdog. For Open and Nursery, you must enter both Cattle and Sheep PLUS enter the field trial to be in the running for the Ultimate Stockdog. Cost for adding field trial is $100

If you want to enter the Open or Nursery Cattle Field trial, you can without being a part of the Ultimate Challenge. You must be qualified for cattle. $100 entry fee.

Sheep finals will all be on Friday. All classes top teams (amount will be determined at finals) from the first two rounds will be held in the sheep arena.

Sheep entries for this year will be determined in this order: those that have qualifying points, then those that are running for the Ultimate Stockdog. Depending upon entries, we may have to limit the number non-qualified folks can enter. We are taking 50 runs per class. We will base this last set of entries on how many cattle points you have (Intermediate and Novice will be based on cattle points for this last set of entrants as well). Entry Fee $300 per dog per class.

FUTURITY dogs: Even though you have nominated your dog YOU MUST still ENTER the finals. Entry fee is $100. This will be added to the payouts for the Futurity Class.

Additional events we have planned right now are Tuesday Night Corn Hole Tournament, the MSSA Scholarship Benefit Dinner and Auction as well as Dog of the Year Awards on Wednesday Night, Sheep Calcutta Thursday Night, Cattle Calcutta Friday Night, AND we will be having an Awards Ceremony and desert social on Saturday Night!

Entries will open April 1st and close May 1st. Entries must be post marked by May 1st. If you are late in sending in, we ask that you priority mail next day OR enter Online.
